I.    Introduction

SANTANDER ASSET MANAGEMENT, S.A. SGIIC, German Branch ("SAM”), is fully compliant with personal data protection regulations and, in particular, with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (“GDPR”), so that any personal information supplied by the data subject (the “Applicant”) upon registration will be processed in compliance with the legally enforceable safeguards and obligations.

In compliance with the regulations in force, SAM has implemented the appropriate technical and organisational measures to guarantee a suitable level of security and prevent the loss, misuse, unauthorised access, or theft of the data provided by the Applicant. Similarly, SAM guarantees that it complies with the duty of secrecy and confidentiality regarding the personal data provided by the Applicant.

The communication of personal data by the Applicant to SAM is a necessary requirement for the Applicant to apply for the job offers and be part of the selection process.

IV.    For what purpose and on what legal basis do we process your personal data?

SAM will use your data to manage your application to a role during the selection and onboarding phase, and to update you on job offers. The legitimate basis for this processing is your consent, expressed by the voluntary submission of your CV / resumee.

Applicant also consents that data may be enriched with those obtained from the Applicant’s profile in social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) as well as in any public sources in order to assess and validate Applicant’s experience, skills and alignment with Corporate culture.

Consent can be withdrawn at any time in writing via e-mail to hrsamgermany@santanderam.com , evidencing your identity.

V.    How long will we keep your data for?

The personal data provided will be kept during the vacancy you are applying to is open. Once you decide to unsubscribe, your data will be blocked for a period of 6 months. After this period has elapsed, the data will be deleted and destroyed.

VI.    Will your data be shared?

Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, nor will their data be transferred to third-party countries or international organisations.

VII.    What are your rights when you provide us with your data?

Applicants may withdraw their consent at any time. You may exercise the right to access, rectify or delete your data, and to request that the processing of your personal data be limited, or oppose this, and request the portability of your data, and that it should not be subject to automated individual decisions, by sending an email to hrsamgermany@santanderam.com  or by writing to Human Resources at Santander Asset Management, Thurn-und-Taxis Platz 6 - 60313 Frankfurt am Main, in both cases providing your national ID number or official document proving your identity.

You may in any case lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Control Authority.

The Applicant, who provided the data at the time of registration.

b.    What personal and professional data do we process?
The personal data we process are:

- Email address
- Password.

Specially protected data are not processed.
